Editor Biography
David Sugarbaker, MD, is the Director of the Lung Center at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. He is a world-renowned expert in the treatment of mesothelioma and other thoracic malignancies. Dr. Sugarbaker has published over 500 scientific papers and book chapters on mesothelioma and other thoracic cancers. He is the author of the textbook, "Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma." Dr. Sugarbaker is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, and the American Thoracic Society.
